SME of the Year Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards 2024 finalist
In the last 12 months Noviun has had multiple projects finished on site with a host of new projects also coming into the practice. With that, the practice has seen substantial growth in numbers over the last year where it is now once again back at full capacity for the first time since the pandemic.
In this last year Noviun have moved into new markets, with work in the Cladding and Remediation sector really growing from strength to strength whilst also seeing a number of key residential projects finishing on site.
Kelso Cochrane House and Hewer Street, both in the Royal London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea opened this past year. Kelso Cochrane House was named after Kelso Cochrane whose life was tragically cut short when attacked and murdered by a gang of white youths in Notting Hill while on his way home in 1959.
Noviun's work in the education sector continues to be its main body of expertise, its Livingstone Academy Bournemouth project finally opened in September. The project has been very challenging, it included complete regeneration and retrofitting a Grade II Listed Coroners Court and 1960s Magistrates Court into functional education spaces whilst also constructing a completely new Secondary School building on the same site to complete the academy.
The practice has also continued to support staff and local students in furthering a career in architecture. Noviun is currently sponsoring students undertaking apprenticeships and have been working with students who have work experience throughout the year.
Key achievements:
Continued success in the Education sector as well as new emerging markets
Supporting employees and local students in furthering their careers in Architecture
