Rohan: A Champion for Innovation, Inclusion, and the Future of Construction

Rohan is a passionate and proactive figure within the construction industry, with a broad range of experience spanning sectors such as Science and Research, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Heritage. As the Chair of G4C Oxford, he has displayed strong and forward-thinking leadership, using his platform to champion collaboration, innovation, and engagement across the sector. His active involvement in Constructing Excellence has allowed him to help shape the future of construction by contributing to critical industry conversations and initiatives.

Rohan’s commitment goes beyond his day-to-day role. He’s a driving force for equality, diversity, and inclusion, both within Hoare Lea and the wider industry. He’s played a pivotal role across several internal committees, including the People & Culture, DE&I, Ethnic & Cultural Diversity, and Engagement Champions groups. As a former Sustainability Champion for the Oxford office, Rohan helped embed sustainable practices into daily operations, influencing long-term change.

Alongside his professional responsibilities, Rohan is pursuing a Master’s in Building Services Engineering and Management at Brunel University, with an eye toward achieving Chartership with IMechE. He seamlessly balances academic development with real-world impact.

His dedication to future generations of construction professionals is especially inspiring. Through outreach with local schools and the Oxford Trust, Rohan promotes STEM education and has successfully organised work experience placements for students at Hoare Lea. His efforts ensure young people see the value and opportunity within the construction sector.
